We charge a flat rate of $25.00 for orders of 1 - 7 boxes. For 8 or more boxes we will then charge the actual shipping rate and your order total will be adjusted prior to charging your card. If your order is above the flat fee rate, you can send an email request for shipping quote to: [email protected].
Your card will NOT be automatically charged when you place your order. Once the order is vetted and all criteria's are confirmed and any FFLs and/or IDs required are received, we will then charge your card and process for shipping.
It is your responsibility to research laws for where you reside. We do our best to stay informed of restrictions, requirements and general laws for each state. We have listed the rules/reg's that we are aware of and currently abide by. When checking out, if you are having the ammunition shipped to a licensed FFL Dealer you need to have confirmed with them that they will accept the ammunition for transfer to you and arrange for their FFL to be emailed to us. Any fees charged by the FFL dealer for this service is your responsibility and will not be paid by Garrett Cartridges of Texas.

California: We can only ship to companies in California registered as FFLs and we must have that FFL on file prior to shipping. Please have it emailed to [email protected]. When you place your order be sure to put the FFL company in the shipping information. Although the 9th circuit ruled the California ammunition background check law to be unconstitutional on 7/24/2025, the CA Dept. of Justice issued a clarification on 7/28/2025 that there were several procedural steps that needed to take place before the law was actually invalidated. Unfortunately, we are not able to ship ammunition direct to your residence at this time.
Connecticut: We are required to have a Valid Ammunition Certificate, AND one of the following: Driver’s License, Passport, OR other Federal, State or Municipal government ID showing DOB & photo. Please email to [email protected].
Illinois: For the majority of Illinois we are required to have your FOID, AND Driver’s License, one of which must match your shipping address. For Chicago, Chicago Heights, Ciciero, Evanston, Norridge, Schaumburg, and Thornton, we must ship to companies registered as an FFL and we will need a copy of their FFL on file prior to shipping. Please email required IDs and/or FFL to [email protected]. If we are shipping to an FFL be sure to put the FFL company in the shipping information.
Massachusetts: We can ship to companies in Massachusetts registered as a FFL. We will need a copy of their FFL on file prior to shipping. Please email to [email protected]. When you place your order be sure to put the FFL company in the shipping information.
New Jersey: We are required to have a New Jersey Firearms Purchaser Identification Card, AND a Driver’s License OR State ID on file prior to shipping. Please email it to [email protected].
